Hi!

I’m trying to install RabbitMQ.
Since I can’t install it under /usr/ directory due to security problem,
I need to install at the specific directory

Environment
CentOS8 without internet-connection.

* How to install RabbitMQ
1. I downloaded RabbitMQ tar ball which is
rabbitmq-server-generic—unix-3.11.10.tar.gz

After extracted the file, then it’s done

*How to install Erlang
Referecne : https://erlang.org/~rickard/OTP-15251/doc/installation_guide/INSTALL.html

1) install with tarball
tar -zxf otp_src_25.2.1.tar.gz
./configure
(Error: No curses library functions found)

I have issue with Erlang installation on the custom directory…..
I guess some library is not installed automatically

2)
Eventhough i installed Eralng with rpm package which is installed under ‘/usr/‘ automatically,
RabbitMQ Servier start/stop has an error that ‘unable to perform an operation on node
And can’t find .erlang.cookie file.

Have you installed these on the custom directory???
