When I am trying to start a rabbitmq-server , the following error is being thrown

{"init terminating in do_boot",{undef,[{rabbit_nodes,make,["rabbit@LINBGP101"],[]},{rabbit_prelaunch,start,0,[{file,"src/rabbit_prelaunch.erl"},{line,41}]},{init,start_em,1,[{file,"init.erl"},{line,1076}]},{init,do_boot,3,[{file,"init.erl"}{line,784}]}]}}
init terminating in do_boot ()

What can be the possible reason for this error ?

Something messes up CLI flag parsing, e.g. see:

Most commonly this happens on Windows. We've seen a couple of people trying to produce their
own RabbitMQ distributions and not including Rabbit's shell scripts or trying to use them directly.
