Hi all,
i'm a new RabbitMq user and i'm trying to create some scenarios and topologies in order to test some cases.
It would be great to understand (visually) the global topology of the broker, and i've seen that there's the management_visualiser plugin.
I've enabled it, restarted the node and the application but i can't find the "Visualiser" node in the http management interface.
...where it should be (i've looked also in Admin's side panel)?
Do i have to do something special?
Thanks in advance and sorry if it's a silly question
Regards

Marcello

It's a separate plugin you have to enable, rabbitmq_management_visualiser.

See `rabbitmq-plugins list`.

I did it. enabled using "rabbitmq-plugin enable rabbitmq_management_visualiser"
If i list the enabled plugins, it's there (rabbitmq-plugin list -e"

Anything in the log files? Do you see it loaded?

The visualiser is a fairly old experiment and it certainly doesn't get
as much attention as the management plugin itself.

It should certainly load though.

OP: The menu item should appear at the top level, after "Admin". Try
shift-refreshing?

If not, try navigating directly to http://server-name:15672/visualiser/

Cheers, Simon

FWIW, I can see the tab:

http://monosnap.com/image/bpeQbxkw3Wu3x10ocENFYftjFn5jcj

and it works. I am logged in as an administrator.

Very weird...if i navigate directly to the server (http://prerel:15672/visualiser/) i get a "Not Found" message.
I think that i'll try to uninstall, restart and then reinstall the plugin...
Same thing with the shovel management...

Can there be a proxy involved?

No, no proxy involved.
As soon as i've completed the uninstall/reinstall i'll let you know the results
(and, anyway, thanks for the help :>)

Sorry for the long delay...apparently there was a problem with the installation of the rabbitmq server. Once "reinstalled" the shovel and visualiser plugins were correctly there.
Thanks to all for the support and sorry for the silly question :/
