Hi Team,

We have successfully installed RMQ 3.13.0 in two nodes , formed a cluster , added the services into a Load balancer.

We have exported definitions from existing RMQ 3.9.5 and imported into RMQ 3.13.0 successfully. All the vhosts , queues and exchanges , policies , users have got imported as it is. We were happy with the upgrade until we found a banner at top of the UI saying " deprecated features are being used"

After  googling for this , we saw that this is due to the mirror all policy applied to classic queues in the server for High availability.

We have around 1000+ classic queues in each environment ( DEV / TST / STAGE / PROD).

Could you please suggest to us the feasible approach to migrate these queues to quorum queues.

We cannot create new vhosts / temporary queues and use shovel plugins as there are nearly 50 vhosts in each environment and a huge number of queues in each vhost.

Please advise.

Hi,

You can write a script that shovels messages from the CMQ queues->QQ, 50 vhosts and 1000 queues is not a "huge number". And maybe not all of the CMQs need/should be quorum queues? Classic non-mirrored queues (cqv2) can be good for some scenarios.
