On behalf of the RabbitMQ team I'm happy to announce that RabbitMQ 3.6.10 is available
for download from rabbitmq.com [1], GitHub [2], Bintray [4], and Package Cloud [3].

This is primarily a bug fix release. See 3.6.10 change log on GitHub [2] for details.

## Upgrading from 3.6.x Releases

If you are upgrading from a version older than 3.6.7, take a look at the 3.6.7 upgrade

If you are upgrading from 3.6.7 or a later version, the procedure is the same as with regular patch releases: http://www.rabbitmq.com/clustering.html#upgrading.

In case you need it, full history of releases can be found at

Hi,
I would like to ask if .NET Client library version has to match with RabbitMQ version. If so I'm missing 3.6.10 version as NuGet package (https://www.nuget.org/packages/RabbitMQ.Client). There is 3.6.9 and then 4.0.0.
Or can I use latest 4.1.3 NuGet packge with 3.6.10 RabbitMQ version?

Thanks,
Tomas

Hi Tomáš,

RabbitMQ .NET and Java clients have been decoupled from RabbitMQ server releases
about 6-8 months ago because you can use any 2.0+ client with any 2.0+ server
(some features are version-specific, of course, but in general it works just fine
because the protocol is quite stable).

Those clients likely won't see any more 3.6.x releases (unless there are really serious issues
reported) as we already maintain 2-3 branches for each.

So please use 4.1.3.
