Are there plans to support filters, like JMS filters?
If yes, what is the roadmap?

The roadmap hasn't changed meaningfully from [1].
JMS filters are not going to ship in 3.8 but 3.9 sounds realistic.

Ok, thanks a lot.
It seems to me that the RabbitMQ team does not consider "full AMQP 1.0 support" a priority.
We intend to propose AMQP as a messaging protocol in an ITS context, but many partners highlight critical issues in adopting an old protocol version (0.9).
So they suggest to use AMQP 1.0 version.

AMQP 0-9-1 is not a previous version of AMQP 1.0. AMQP 1.0 is a completely different
protocol, despite the name and some initial common lineage.

Our team does want to support all protocols well but we have a lot of other things that need finishing first,
and there are always many more tasks than we have engineers and contributors. All protocol plugins are going to be
revisited for 3.9.

RabbitMQ is open source software you very likely pay nothing for.
You are welcome to contribute what you find missing or pay someone (e.g. Erlang Solutions)
to do it. There are still a few months left before 3.8 reaches feature freeze.
