Hi,

We are using 2 node RabbitMQ Servers. Recently we faced Network Partition Detected error in the both RabbitMQ Server.

How to rectify this error without loosing queue messages?

Kindly help here.

Please read the documentation. Clusters MUST have an odd number of nodes.

Best
Martin

PS: Your version of RabbitMQ is long EOL. Upgrade.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes we are planning to upgrade the RabbitMQ to the latest version and also planning to enable 3 nodes.

I read the document to resolve the issue.

Document says,

To recover from a split-brain, first choose one partition which you trust the most. This partition will become the authority for the state of the system (schema, messages) to use; any changes which have occurred on other partitions will be lost.Stop all nodes in the other partitions, then start them all up again. When they rejoin the cluster they will restore state from the trusted partition

How do we know which is the trusted partition node from 2 nodes or 3 nodes server?

Thanks and Regards,
M.Rajanbabu
