Shovels Not Restoring Automatically in RabbitMQ 4.1.2 (Shovel Status Shows Empty Daily)

Hello everyone,

I need help diagnosing an issue with RabbitMQ Shovels between two systems (System A and System B).
Both systems communicate using Shovels.

Environment:

• RabbitMQ: v4.1.2

• Erlang: 27.3.4.1

Problem

Almost every day, the Shovel status page becomes empty — none of the configured Shovels are listed.
To temporarily fix it, I restart the RabbitMQ server. After the restart, the Shovels appear again and start running normally.
However, the next day the same issue returns.

I have attached logs from the time when the Shovels disappeared.

Question

• Why are the Shovels not restored automatically after some time?

• What could cause Shovels to disappear or stop being listed?

• Is there a recommended fix or configuration change to prevent this from happening?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
