Hi team,

I have a query regarding time format used in RabbitMQ logging

In the rabbitmq docs, we see support for timestamp in epoch microseconds and no mention about nanoseconds

Ref: https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/logging#time-format

Is there a way to support nanoseconds precision in non epoch format? If not, is there a plan to provide it?

Thanks in advance.

Why would you want that?

To have more precision in the logs generated which will help in improving debuggability.

I would be surprised if that helped you to be honest. Anyway, we have no plans to work on that.
If you believe it'd be helpful - make the changes, prove (to yourself) it actually helps and contribute if it does.
