rabbitmq_tracing

Hi,

i am new to rabbitmq,

i enabled the plugin rabbitmq_tracing by executing the command

"rabbitmq-plugins enable rabbitmq_tracing"

i am able to access tracing menu from GUI but when i try add a new trace giving name=123.log format=json pattern = # , it gives me the error 

"Something went wrong trying to start the trace - check the logs. "

rate and queued statud = failed

and logs shows the following error:

=ERROR REPORT==== 11-Jul-2015::06:35:26 ===

webmachine error: path="/api/traces/%2F/123.log"

"Bad Request"

can anybody tell me what to do ?

I can’t reproduce this with 3.5.3. I get a Basic HTTP Auth dialog
when I try to access the log but then it is displayed.

Are you using a user with the administrator tag (I am) ?

i am using RabbitMQ 3.2.4

and yes i am using a user with the administrator tag.

3.2.x is no longer supported on this list .
