rabbitmq Socket descriptors full

Hi,

    My  application  can not conect to RabbitMQ,  In the management ui, it shows there are 1057 connections, using 58889 socket descriptors.

    why so many Socket descriptors , in the Node rabbit@rabbitmq2 ,Only have total 3300 tcp .

    environment: rabbitmq3.7.2and erlang 20.2.

I believe we have had a fix in RabbitMQ since that version for this issue. Please upgrade to the latest version.

The screenshot says that the node runs 3.7.2.

Anyhow, monitoring and dealing with high connection churn are decently documented [1][2][3][4].
