Hi

I am using RabbitMQ v3.8.14 and Erlang 23.2

I have created 2 Nodes in a Cluster and it was working fine before 2 days. but suddenly i am facing data not transmitted from Queue to other Queue

Then i checked on RabbitMQ Broker, so there is Error Message is displayed as per following:

Network partition detected

Mnesia reports that this RabbitMQ cluster has experienced a network partition. There is a risk of losing data

I am using Classic Queue, and I have checked on RabbitMQ site for the same. but they are saying to change Net-Tick Time OR change Partition Handling Strategies like autoheal

But i didn't found location of this settings and also i am not able to get RabbitMQ.conf file path.

So, Request you please let me know for the same and help me to resolve this Partition issue? How can i resolve this?

Thanks & Regards

Always use three-node cluster.

Hi Mohammed Rehan

Thanks for Your Reply

What benefit will I get for a three-node cluster?
And is it not possible to resolve this partition issue in Two-Node Cluster ?

Thanks & Regards
Dharmesh Jayani

Please restart the services for now to fix it, benefit of using a three-node cluster will result in less network partition and you can use cluster methods to avoid spilt brain.

Hi

Thank You

OK I will try using 3 Node Clusters.. Is it possible to avoid this issue using Net-Tick Time change OR changing partition handling strategy to AutoHeal ?

and If i want to change these above then can you tell me the steps? because there is no rabbitmq.conf file located at path and even advanced.config file is showing empty

Thanks & Regards
