RabbitMQ Service starts and stops

Hi,

I have an issue where every time I try to start the RMQ service (via services.msc or via rabbitmq-service.bat start) it starts and stops immediately after a few seconds.

I turned off firewalls, made sure the .erlang.cookie is in the proper place,  made sure the environment variables are set, put the log on "debug" and found no explanation why I'm not able to start it properly.

Are there any other places I can look? I'm working with version 3.8.3 + erlang 22 10.7 on windows 10

I am guessing you need to turn off anti-virus software as well.

It still doesn't work :/

I also saw in the windows event log that the ErlSrv fails with this message:

RabbitMQ: Erlang machine stopped instantly (distribution name conflict?)

Followed by :

The RabbitMQ service terminated with the following error: 

The process terminated unexpectedly

I tried doing as they suggest on this site https://www.rabbitmq.com/windows-quirks.html but still no luck..

So, can you upgrade to the latest version of both Rabbitmq and Erlang?
