Message store implementation for MQTT Retained messages

The documentation https://www.rabbitmq.com/mqtt.html#retained talks about production ready implementations based on Riak or Cassandra. Is there documentation available how this is done? Also is there an extensive list of implementations? I would be interested most in one using Redis as message store for retained messages.
