Hi,

Can you telnet into 5672? You're not providing a lot of information that would be useful for anyone wanting to help, like what client you are using, what errors you encounter and broker server logs so it's hard to give any more concrete advice.

Cheers
Karl

Hi guys,

I've got a rabbitMQ instance running in a container on Rancher. I've used Traefik to resolve the container to a url and expose the 5672 port on the url.

I can access the management UI using the URL with port 15672 but I can't seem to queue to it.

I'm tried using the url as a uri, and using the url as a hostname but they don't work?

Has anyone else tried this type of scenario?

Thanks!

Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy, it doesn't handle TCP. You can use
it for RabbitMQ management plugin, but not for AMQP.
