RabbitMQ becomes unresponsive over AMQP connections AND the management UI and Web API also becomes unresponsive. This happens at random intervals in the day, often just minutes or hours after a service reset.

RabbitMQ is running on a Windows 2012 R2 environment.

The unusual implementation that we have here is that around 25 messages per second are pushed, fairly consistently, through the RabbitMQ Management API over HTTP. We've had this implementation for about a year now, but only recently have we seen instabilities. Does this management UI have a breaking point?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Andrew,

RabbitMQ 3.7.5 and Erlang 20.3 are both unsupported at this time.

What changed? If the RabbitMQ and Erlang versions have remained the same, something else must have changed -
  • Workload
  • Windows patch level
  • Infrastructure
  • Client applications
Thanks,
Luke
