Hi,
I am thinking of setting up rabbitmq and erlang on a shared hosting web
server. Are there any pointers on how to install to a custom directory
without requiring administrative rights?

Thanks!

Hi,

If you can get Erlang functioning successfully on the machine, then the Generic UNIX install of Rabbit is simply a tarball that can be placed anywhere. As for getting Erlang working appropriately, that is going to be very dependent on the shared host at hand.

Paul.
