Hi,
I just adopted my rabbit Ford about a month ago and things have beeng
going great. She is an older bunny, around 7 years or so. Usually when
I pet her she makes happy teeth grinding noises, but tonight she
started to lick her lips as well. Is this also a happy signal, or is
there something else going on?

Hi :) Congrats on adopting a bunny!
It sounds like a normal bunny behavior to me. I used to have a bunny
who used to lick my arm while I petted him. I noticed that some
rabbits have a trigger spot for licking. I bet Ford is pretty content
being loved and petted by you. She's a lucky bun to have a great
retirement home!

Thanks, for you're input. That sounds like what's going on, although
I'm not going to be putting my arm in front of her because she does
have some aggressive tendencies sometimes. Overall though, she's very
sweet.
