Today i put my new baby bunny in his run but he escaped, i had to run around with a small wire cage to put over him i felt bad because he was so scared of me and i knew i seemed like a predator but i couldnt let him run away either. i caught him but he escaped once again due to me(i tried to hold him and comfort him) I caught him again and was going to put him in his cage but felt i had to show him i wasnt a monster so i held him in a blanket on my lap on his belly and stroked the top of his head/ ears wich seemed to calm him down. Do you think he'll ever get over this experience. As well as this my older bunny, Romeo, that is recovering from his fear of being held and is becoming very sweet started to bite my thighs today. It makes no sense as he is becoming very loving but he may be doing it because when i open the cage my thighs are the only things keeping him from escaping and he's and escape artist:)

Again, I apologize for the delay in posting your messages. It's been
ages since anyone posted here... probably due to a fact that social
media has quite evolved in the last few years. If you're on Twitter,
my username there is @otterX - feel free to follow me or drop by

Some bunnies just don't like to be held. I had one who never got used
to it. On the other hand, I've had many who tolerated being held.
(^^); My bunny who's 10 years old doesn't mind spending time on my
lap.

Romeo must smell the baby bun on you. Please do be careful, two male
buns can fight badly (especially if they're not neutered).
