Hello Team, since i am using In-design for my work almost everyday, and a die hard fan for using Unicode fonts for Indian Language (JFYI I mostly work in Hindi + Marathi languages and Devanagari Script used by both these languages) and I use many fonts including that of Adobe and locally developed Unicode fonts

Marathi Numbers 1 To 100 Font 23

the Major issue I am facing is In-Design still doesn't support the Automated Numbers in "Devanagari Script" they still appear in English / Roman Numerals, which is a very annoying thing to see page numbers & auto numbered lists Showing Numbers in English / Roman Numerals, (here i am choosing a font which does have numerals designed in Devanagari Script)

Moreover, if I try to use the same Unicode font in CorelDRAW / QuarkXpress, it gives me proper & desired output i.e. to say, I get proper Devanagari Numerals for automated things like TOC & Index entries, so also the most crucial page numbers & numbered para lists

Shrilipee, Shivaji, kothare 2,4,6, Kiran fonts KF-Kiran[104] and many more (about 48) are clip fonts that were used prior to the introduction of Unicode standard for Devanagari script. Clip fonts are in vogue on PCs even today since most computers use English keyboards. Even today a large number of printed publications such as books, newspapers and magazines are prepared using these ASCII based fonts. However, clip fonts cannot be used on internet since those did not have Unicode compatibility.

Attempts to evaluate statistical models for Marathi language Corpuses and text-collections have been carried out. For the Marathi corpus (Marathi WordCorp), the y-intercept of Zipf's law is reported as 12.49, and the coefficient is 0.89 and these numbers show that Zipf's law is applicable for Marathi language.[116] The coefficients show that the number of words and texts used in the corpus metadata is enough. Heaps' law intercept for the Marathi word corpora is 2.48, and the coefficient is 0.73.[116] The coefficient values show that there are more unique words in Marathi writings than would be expected. The higher number of unique words could be due to the number of alphabets (36 consonant letters and 16 initial-vowel letters, with each consonant taking 14 forms with vowel pairs), the orthographic features of the Devanagari script (for example, the same word can be written in different ways), the use of consonant clusters (jodakshar), the number of suffixes a word can have, etc.

You can select Marathi in LibreOffice using TOOLS > OPTIONS > LANGUAGE SETTINGS > LANGUAGES > COMPLEX TEXT LAYOUTS (CTL) > MARATHI. Then choose a font that supports Marathi like LOHIT DEVANAGARI . There is a language pack for MARATHI which you can install, to provide fuller support.

I have some Marathi (Regional Language) Static Text which needs to be shown in the report. For this I am using teh UTF-8 encoding and also teh Unicode font Arial Unicode MS to display. All the test are shown fine in iReport Internal Viewer, Word,Excel and HTML formats but the text is not shown proeprly in pdf format. Bacause of this teh entire meaning of teh text when seen in pdf format is getting Changed.

HI Teodor,
Thanks for attending to my issue. Please find the attachment showing the good and bad way of writing the text. I am using the Arial Unicode MS font for displaying the Unicode Characters. Except teh pdf format all other formats are showing properly. The problem is with only pdf format. Even iReport Internal viewer also shows correctly.

I suggest you take a look at the /demo/samples/fonts and /demo/samples/unicode samples that come with the JR project source files and you create a font extension for your Arial Unicode font, just like we create there font extension for Gentium font and Arphic font.

Thanks for the reply. I am already using the Font extension created for Arial Unicode MS font. The reson for the pdf Font name being pdfFontName="Times-Bold" , there is no provision in iReport toll to remove it or set empty value . I had to use one value even though its deprecated. I agree that it will not be used as it is deprecated and also I have set the setting as isPdfEmbedded="true". I can send you the Font extension which I have created if you want me, the reason why I havent send it earlier is its size is around 13 MB .

An encoding standard is a numbering scheme that assigns each text character in a character set to a numeric value. A character set can include alphabetical characters, numbers, and other symbols. Different languages commonly consist of different sets of characters, so many different encoding standards exist to represent the character sets that are used in different languages.

If almost all the text looks the same (for example, all boxes or all dots), the font required for displaying the characters may not be installed. If the font that you need is not available, you can install additional fonts.

If there are multiple font styles or extraneous shapes in your image, please crop to the letters you are trying to match. If letters are touching or connected, use image editing software to disconnect them. Did you mess up? Start over... or watch our tutorial video.

The best part about bold text (and all of the other unicode text above) is that you can easily copy and paste them into social media posts and profiles such as Facebook or Instagram. Our style fonts work on both iOS and Android, and desktop browsers, making it easy to create bold text.

Bold text is one type of several obscure characters that can be generated above are characters that are created from Unicode characters. They are unique character codes that a computer is able to understand and look fun to human eyes. The best part is that these fonts can be posted to social media to make your posts stand out.

This will definitely save a lot of time and effort compared to manually formatting text to make it bold. Overall, this is a great tool for anyone looking to add some emphasis to their text. I will definitely be bookmarking it for future use. Also check this article fontbots.com/extra-thicc-text-generator/

An important development in Windows 10 is the Universal Windows Platform (UWP): a converged app platform allowing a developer to create a single app that can run on all Windows devices. Windows fonts are one aspect of this convergence: Windows 10 introduces a recommended UWP font set that is common across all editions that support UWP, including Desktop, Server, and Xbox.

A number of additional fonts are available for Desktop and Server, including all other fonts from previous releases. However, not all of these are pre-installed by default in all images. In order to make disk usage and font choices more relevant to users according to the languages that they use, a number of fonts have been moved into optional, on-demand packages. These packages are designed around the different scripts that fonts are primarily intended to support, and most are added automatically by Windows Update when the associated languages are enabled in language settings (for example, by enabling a keyboard). Any of these Feature On Demand (FOD) packages can also be added manually via Settings. To add font packages manually, select the Start button, and then select Settings > System > Optional features (if on a version older than Windows 10 22H2, navigate to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Optional features instead).
