I'm also interested. R2Mail2 hasn't been abandoned, right? I still have a few bugs and a small feature request noted, which have not been addressed in the current version 2.54.305 despite my having sent those to the developer directly. I had conversed with them before, but I haven't received any replies for quite some time.

Will there even be any more updates?

Realistically we can consider this software abandoned because of the lack of updates. Many users adopted FairEmail, which has all its features and many more. So unless you use Ms Exchange, FairEmail is the best choice now.

Thanks for your reply, and for mentioning FairEmail (which I had not known before). Seems like nice, free software, I'll take a closer look at it!
