Movie Night this weekend: GRAVITY [change from SIN CITY 2]

Hello,

We need to do a little reshuffling on the movie nights. This Saturday will be Alphonso Cuaron's Gravity. (Synopsis: A medical engineer and an astronaut work together to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in space.) [PG-13, 90 minutes]

UNLESS THERE ARE OBJECTIONS, we'll see the 3D movie version @ $10.75 per person. (Supposedly this movie was conceived & executed with 3D in mind.)

Saturday, October 5 @ 4:20 p.m.

Cinemark Tinseltown (Gates), 2291 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624

We'll decide as a group if and where dinner is after the movie.

Tentatively, we're also planning on Gravity for the 10/19 movie. Maybe people who don't want to see it in 3D can go to that one.

I wish I could go, but I have D&D tomorrow.

 

But the movie was shot with 3-d in mind.  It isn't the shood a regular movie then "juice" it in post production.

Wayne, let folks know if you try to get a group together to see it at some other time. I think it's one a lot of people will want to see.

Could anyone who plans to go speak out here? So far I'm not seeing anyone; I want to make sure someone doesn't show up thinking there will be others and there aren't (or that people know to look for one another if they do go). 

I will NOT be going, just to make that clear.
