R Workshop at JU, Kolkata: Brief

Thanks to the efforts of the speakers, organisers and of course
participants, we had an excellent workshop on "Statistics and Data
Analysis with R" at Jadavpur University, Kolkata on the 9th and 10th
of December'2011

). It was definitely difficult to design the material as the audience
was of mixed type. But the speakers arrived at reasonable consensus
that worked well with their varied styles.

Because of features of the participation trend, not all prospective
participants could be accommodated. But any way we plan to conduct
many more subject-specific workshops on R in the near future.

1. I can put them up at the LUG website (ilug-cal.info) or
2. we can set up a website for GNU/R-India or
3. we can use https://metastudio.org/groups/gnu_r or
4. mail them to those interested

       I will assort the stuff for the four speakers from ISI, and will mail it to you. It is now up to you to decide the mode.
