I mentioned this in passing a while ago, but I feel it's worth
repeating to anyone who might want to connect with HS or college kids.
The band Tool has a song called Lateralus that is based on the
Fibonacci sequence. This particular song is clean as far as lyrics go
(absolutely not true with other Tool songs), and just might be a hook
for some students. The Wikipedia reference is below, and you can
access the song via youtube. And well, yes, I love this band. Heavy
metal Pink Floyd is how I see them. The song writer and leader is a
musical genius, in my humble opinion.
