When should I turn ON the power switch on electronics module? Before or after running the QZFM UI?

Turning on the power switch on electronics module is mentioned two times in the QZFM Quick Start Guide: in Step 2 of the 'Software Setup' section and in the first paragraph of the 'Operating the Sensors' section. So, it is not clear for me when exactly I should turn on the power switch.

Thank you for asking this question, the instructions are not as clear as they should be an will be edited after responding here.

In the "Software Setup" section the electronics must be powered ON before opening the QZFM UI if you are connecting sensors for the first time. Once the sensor serial numbers appear in the QZFM UI it will not matter if the electronics is ON before the UI is opened.

In the "Operating the Sensors" section, the mention of turning the electronics ON is to observe the LEDs blink green a few times as a way of checking that all electronics are responding correctly but is not necessary to observe every time the sensors are run. The Reboot button can also be pressed which is the same as power cycling the electronics OFF then back ON.

Could you please comment on in what order one must reconnect/switch off all the cables, electronics, etc. in setup for the further healthy operation of the system each time experiments finished?

Cables should not need to be reconnected unless the computer is not communicating with the electronics properly via the USB cable, then you can disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to reestablish communication. It is recommended that sensors are rebooted if there will be a long period between experiments (around 2 or more hours without use). Reboot is done by pressing Reboot/Shutdown in the UI, sending command 101, or turning the power off with the power switch on the electronics module.
