Hi James,

We would like to develop a native Windows software package for clinical researchers to use QZFM. We are hoping to optimize the software with intuitive GUI for clinicians to take the advantages of QZFM within clinical settings (e.g., simultaneously record EEG, EKG, EMG and trigger) . We used the commands listed on March 15th, 2017:

It works well so far. However, it seems that we need additional command to optimize the software. For example,  to get the serial number of the sensors.

Do you have updated QZFM-command-list?

Thank you so much for your time and help in advance.

Hi Jing,

We do not have a command to read out the serial number of sensors. Our UI reads the FTDI chip (part number FT232R) and links it to the COM port. The FTDI Chip website provides resources (https://ftdichip.com/software-examples/ftdichip-id/) that should be helpful for integrating this into your GUI. We program the sensor serial number in the Product Description of the FT232R.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Best regards,
James
