In our experiments, we use USB-hub for connecting magnetometers to a computer. But very often we face a problem that QZFM-UI-v3.2 does not recognize more than 3 magnetometers (sometimes it recognizes more than 3, but still the number of recognized magnetometers is less than the number of connected magnetometers). The problem is definitely not with the USB-hub. Also, we connect/switch on all the cables, electronics and other equipment according to order and manner stated in your instructions. Could you please recommend something? Are there any computer requirements for running QZFM-UI-v3.2?

The computer requirements are a 64-bit computer with Windows 7 or later. When using the QZFM-UI-v3.2 you will need to be sure that all electronics are powered on before the UI is opened if scanning sensors into the UI for the first time.

First, check that all the electronics are displayed in the Device Manager as "USB Serial Port (COMXX)" in the Ports (COM & LPT) tab, and that they do not have any errors (such as needing to update drivers).

Next you can use this Find COM Port vi to check that all sensors are connected and recognized by the computer before running the UI. If all the sensors are displayed in the Find COM Port vi but they still do not scan into the QZFM-UI-v3.2 it will be necessary to look into the generated Mag Setup.ini, we will discuss this further if necessary.

You can also use the other UI posted on the QZFM Quick Start Guide, direct link here: QuSpin ZFM UI V6.3.8 (requires LabView Runtime Engine 2015 or later). This UI will automatically connect to sensor electronics modules without the scanning process.
