I have the software loaded and opened a file from the QZ Tray icon then hit "Print EPL" but all that was printed on the thermal printer was the demo info again.

I changed the filetype opener for an *.epl2 file to Chrome and now when I open a file with the QZ Tray it displays text on the screen in Chrome.

Long day here, I must be doing something wrong. I thought if I opened a file with the QZ Tray icon->Advanced->Open File Location it would bring up a screen like in the demo, then I would hit the "Print EPL" button and it would print the file I just opened with the QZ Tray icon.

All confused here, thanks in advance for any pointers.

If you open sample.html in a text editor, you'll see that our EPL code is written directly below the function using a few append functions. You'll want to either mimic this append code to send your EPL code go to the printer, or use appendFile () to make your EPL work as part of the sample.

I generally use an instance of notepad++ to edit sample.html and also have sample.html open in Chrome or Firefox. Both work well when you right click on the page and choose "inspect element" in case you leave out a semi-colon or end bracket}. Save the html before you refresh the browser and you should be printing in no time.
