QZ Tray - Printer is not accepting job.

Hi,

 

Wanted to know if you can help

Recently upgraded to windows 11, now the website I use to print labels from doesn’t work.

 

Please see attached log.

 

Using tray: Qz 1.9.8

I downloaded the latest version of V2.1.6, it installed fine, but the website browser said its not compatible with this, so I went back to 1.9.8.

 

I have attached screenshots too?

 

I have allowed this website to be allowed in the site manager

 

Any help would be great.

I'm sorry, but the 1.9 branch has been end-of-life since 2017, and is no longer maintained or supported.

I did notice that the logs show the Zebra printer queue as a copy (1) of an original. You may want to look at Control Panel > Printers and Devices and clear out any duplicate entries.

Also, pausing the queue, clearing out any jobs that have not finished and resuming may fix this.

If you're comfortable doing so, you may also restart the Windows print spooler.

If the above fixes don't work, I would encourage you to escalate your issue with HypaShip. They have an active support contract with us and we can work with them to get things working with 2.1 or 2.2 branches.

You solved it…..you noticed the copy of the printer

Hypaship was printing to “ZDesigner GK420d (1)” copy which is not showing on the printers list in control panel……so I went into registry editor and deleted that “Phantom printer called “ZDesigner GK420d (1)” and logged into hypaship and in setting I deleted the (1) on the printer name and boom its working.

 

Control panel and printers, I couldn’t see a printer called “ZDesigner GK420d (1)” , I can only see 1x printer called “ZDesigner GK420d” but when printing a document within the PDF/Word document, I could see the odd printer “ZDesigner GK420d (1)” which doesn’t actually exist.

 

But thanks for spotting this and sorting it.
