QZ Tray disconnected from ILS

QZ tray isn't connecting to our library's ILS - it keeps giving an "Unable to establish a connection with QZ Tray" error message in Microsoft Edge. I've double-checked the demo page and everything seems to be working correctly. I've even done the "turn it off, turn it back on" and I still got the error message.

We're running v2.2.5 on these two computers and they might be out of date but I want to make sure before I uninstall the current version.

QZ Tray 2.2.5 should be just fine 


Does the same thing occur at https://demo.qz.io?

There's a new Chrome update blocking connections but I tested on Edge two days ago and it wasn't affected.

When I checked, it said that it was connected. I did have to find the printer each time I opened the page and I was just informed that the website of our ILS isn't working so it has to be related to a setting there. Any advice would be appreciated!

Can you click the QZ Tray icon in the System Tray, click "Advanced", "Site Manager" and see if ILS is in the blocked list?

I actually figured it out: one of our circulation clerks hit "block" instead of "allow" when it asked for permission in the browser so I just needed to reset the permissions.
