Hello,

Hope you are having a great day!

I was contacting you all on behalf of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.

I was contacting you in regards to an issue we are having with QZ tray.

We were told by realm support that windows 7 is no longer being supported QZ-Tray.

If so why has support for QZ tray being withdrawn before the end of life of windows 7 in January, 2020.

Again hope you are having a great day!

Thanks,

Windows 7 is still supported.  We actually still support many clients on XP.

There are scenarios where a 32-bit desktop may have issues, specifically with our HTML API but this issue has existed since we first introduced HTML about 3 years ago.

This is a public mailing list.  Please feel free to get your application provider in touch with us at sup...@qz.io and we'll discuss in detail.

Tres,

Hope you are having a great day!

The vendor I spoke with is Realm with Checkin.

They state that the issue is on QZ tray and the Qz Tray is the one that told them that they were no longer being supported.

Is that information correct?

Again, Hope you are having a great day!

Thanks,

If it's the company I think it is, we haven't talked to them since November, I'm not sure which conversation this is in regards to.  Please have the technician you worked with reach out to us directly.

In the meantime if you have any technical production questions, we're happy to answer them here.  Windows 7 is supported.  32-bit will run out of memory with certain print jobs.  Java 32-bit on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine will suffer the same problem.  We have most of this outlined here:  https://qz.io/wiki/faq

For premium clients, it's important for the company that integrated the product to reach out to us, that's who our support contract is with.

Not a problem just to confirm you all do support windows 10 correct?

Yes.

Please look at our FAQ for supported OS's: https://qz.io/wiki/faq#operating-systems

Thanks,
