Hi,

I am experiencing a little issue with our Qz tray version.

Currently we are using the 1.9.8 Qz tray version in one of our computers. This computer is running on Windows 7, Java 8 and Chrome 65.0.3325.181 but for some reason its not even lauching the program. It seems like its no even recognizing the Qz tray. We have installed it and uninstalled it several times and nothing if you try double clicking on the program it doesnt even starts the sidebar icon.

We were checking the browsers logs and this is what we get (don't know if this error is even related to our issue) but I think it's worth mentioning it:

Websocket connection to 'ws://localhost:8485/' failed: Error in connection establishedment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

The logs show this same error several times and sometimes the port changes to 8182, 8384 etc.

We have other computers running smoothly with these same parameters (same windows, Qz and Java versions) so we don't quite get what the problem is.

Have you ever experienced something similar? is there a way to troubleshoot this?

Hope I'm making any sense and giving enough information so you guys can help us figure this out.

Thanks in advance,

Tres Finocchiaro

Our troubleshooting guide covers a near identical symptom:

https://qz.io/wiki/faq#cannot-launch-software

If that doesn't fix it the console logs will tell you more:
