Hello, we have barcode printer GPrinter GP-212. I installed QZ and tried to print anything on it. In sample.html I selected in listed printers that GPrinter and push "Set to search", then push EPL, or ZPL but everywhere I got:

Error: Cannot find printer with name "Gprinter GP-2120T"

Please, help needed

Which OS is this?  Does it list on your printers screen ?

Thank you for answer but we solved this probled :we renamed GPrinter GP-2120T to just "GP".  I guess, that script was confused with "-" symbol... And all became fine!

Hyphens are supported in all versions of QZ Tray.  Did you name the printer with a non-hypen character?

e.g.
  • Non breaking hyphen: ‑
  • Regular hyphen: -
  • Dash: –
These are all separate characters and must be treated as such.  String matches are not guaranteed to work if these are different.  Note there are other characters which may also cause a mismatch.  Converting to ANSI often helps uncover hidden unicode characters.

That printer doesn't support EPL , ZPL , it supports only  TSC programming language. Can I print the same way that EPL commands, sending throught Javascript wrapper ?

The GP-2120T is a two-function printer, which is rather unique.  It's designed to be both a label printer as well as a receipt printer.
So yes, it should absolutely work.  Sometimes the driver needs to be configured to use Generic/Text per: https://qz.io/wiki/setting-up-a-raw-printer-in-windows

Best regards,

-Tres
