Dear QZ Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am using QZ Tray with the Flipkart Seller Portal for thermal label printing. Whenever Flipkart tries to access the connected printer, QZ Tray displays the following security prompt:

"Flipkart wants to access connected printers – Untrusted Website"

I have attached screenshots of:

  • The security prompt displayed by QZ Tray.

  • The request details.

  • The certificate details shown in QZ Tray.

From the certificate information, I noticed:

  • Organization: Flipkart

  • Trusted: Untrusted Website

  • Certificate Valid Until: 2026-07-14

Could you please help me understand:

  1. Why is Flipkart still being identified as an Untrusted Website even though a certificate is present?

  2. Is this expected behavior, or does it indicate a configuration or certificate issue?

  3. Is there any recommended solution or configuration that would allow Flipkart to be recognized as a trusted website?

  4. Is there anything I need to configure in QZ Tray, or does Flipkart need to update its certificate/signing process?

I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps you can provide.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,

Deep Singh

Deep:

Sorry for the trouble.

Flipkart should be your first line of support for issues with their web application. We cannot fix problems with their website.

Have you tried clicking "Remember this decision" before clicking "Allow"?

If this does not work, you must escalate the problem with Flipkart support. We received a similar support inquiry a few days ago, so this may be a site-wide problem.

They have another license with us through Myntra, but Flipkart is a big company, so that may be for another deployment/web app.

Kind regards,

Lite Finocchiaro

Dear Lite,

Thank you very much for your prompt response and for taking the time to review my issue.

Regarding your suggestion, we did try selecting "Remember this decision" before clicking "Allow." However, the "Allow" button does not become active or clickable after checking that option. Because of this, we were unable to proceed, which is why we reached out to you for assistance.

Based on your response, we understand that this issue is not related to QZ Tray and should be addressed with Flipkart. We will now contact the Flipkart Support team and escalate the issue with them.

Thank you once again for your guidance and support.

If we encounter any QZ-related issues in the future, we will certainly reach out to you again.

Kind regards,

Deep Singh
