You likely accidentally blocked all anonymous requests.  Without setting up message signing, all requests will be "anonymous".
You can check this by going clicking on QZ Tray > Advanced > Site Manager and looking in the "Blocked" tab.  Just delete the entry and you should be able to use the demo again.

You will need to purchase support here, which is valid for 1 year (requires renewal).  This support allows you to generate an Intermediate Certificate and a public/private key pair.  There are no domain, client, or user restrictions on this certificate.  These items will allow you to setup signing, which will suppress all print warning dialogues.  Here is a tutorial on how to setup signing.

Kyle

For those that are on Mac and banging their head against the wall trying to find "Site Manager", here is how. Do not look to the bottom application dock, but instead to the top of your screen in the running tasks. There is a smaller QZ Print icon. Click this ->Advanced->Site Manager. Honestly, I feel stupid, but maybe this will help others.

Thanks Chuck for the feedback.

Also for those that prefer to do this on command line, you may safely purge the working directory.

  • Windows: %APPDATA%\qz
  • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/qz
  • Linux: ~/.qz
