Hi guys,

I'm trying to use the generic Raw printing style, using a dot matrix printer.

But all my prints are printing in Font-Family : Roman.

So,

Question 1 - Can I use generic raw printing to print in Sans-Serif mode? If Yes, how? If No, How can I print in Raw Text and still get Sans-Serif?

Question 2( pretty noob like) - In this url( https://qz.io/wiki/2.0-raw-printing ) there exist a Note stating,  "Reminder to supply <meta content="text/html;charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"> if printing Unicode. ". I have no Idea how to supply this in the data mentioned, as I was trying everything in hit and trial method.

Any direction will be helpful.

Regards,
Piyush Kumar.

Any reference links or related reference links available for converting normal Text string to ESC/P encoded string using Javascript will be very helpful also.

Thanks in Advance.

We only provide basic ESC/P commands in our tutorial.  We do not include any samples which change the typesetting or font but they will be available in the ESC/P manual for your printer.

In regards to UTF8 data -- This should not require any special code.  You may use JavaScript escape sequences if you prefer or if you encounter encoding problems but generally speaking, sending raw UTF-8 over the wire is fully supported.
