I am developing pos system using QZ Tray 2.0.
I need help with a sample code on how to send serial command to a pole display.
Thanks

The easiest way we've found to communicate with a pole display is actually a creative workaround a community member found which writes raw data to the device namespace using our print functions:

https://qz.io/wiki/2.0-Raw-Printing#print-to-win32-device-namespace

If you are working from a non-Windows OS, the programming guide for that particular display I suspect would need to be referenced using direct serial commands.  We do not have experience with this approach but we'd be happy to add them to the wiki as they are discovered/provided.

We have a standard Bematch USB display which installs a virtual com port for communication.  If you have a similar model and a programming reference guide, we'd be happy to work with you to document the serial approach as well.

If you have a different manufacturer pole, we may consider ordering it as well if it is a common brand.

Best regards,
