Mike,

Sorry about the inconvenience. As you've already identified, there are many changes to a computer outside of our control, especially Windows updates.

We had a client two weeks ago have to reload the computer because (what we believed to be) a Windows update made QZ Tray inoperable. In his case, QZ Tray would startup just fine and listen on port 8181, 8182, but then would sporadically crash when printing with no backtrace or logs to help us understand the cause.

Some things you can do are:

Open Command Prompt as Administrator
chkdsk /f
Reboot

As a courtesy one of us can reach out and see what's happening on this machine, but please understand we do this as a courtesy only to improve the software and we would only gather information with the possibility to repair the installation, if it's something quick.

Well it seems that Microsoft did a forced restart of my windows 10 PC and no cannot print to printer. It seems that the app request to QZ Tray is not working anymore.
That being said. I has another Java web launched app that was giving me fits so there were many adjustments made. Buy they did not stop qz from working.
I fail to understand the error as there is only one app running on the port 8182. In the web browser i get this

Hello Tres,

Sorry for jumping in, but was there any resolution for this issue?

We have a client on Windows 10 that experienced something similar: Things worked until they stopped working.
