I've an Epson TM-T82II-i Network printer. I have tried to print using the IP of the printer but not able to do so. It ask for the websocket connection. Is it mandatory to install QZ tray on the system. Is there any way out to print directly where I can connect to the printer directly with IP and do not install QZ tray, while using qztray.js?

Since most printers support the HP JetDirect protocol on 9100, theoretically, yes it is possible, but I've yet to see a pure JavaScript library which supports what you've mentioned. I did a quick search and did not find one either.
QZ Tray has a print-server mode as well. We have some users which fire up a Raspberry Pi to act as a print server and then shim the websocket with a Trusted Let's Encrypt certificate which allow qz-tray.js to talk to the PI without any software or certificate installation on the clients.
Here are a list of several products which aim to aid in the printing process from a web browser.
