The next version of QXmlEdit (0.9.6) will introduce support for SCXML files.
SCXML is a W3C specification to describe state machines having different implementations (notably Qt in C++ and Apache Commons in Java).
The
support will be implemented through a specialized edit mode, like the
current XSL edit mode,
and it will be based on specific input forms, a states navigator and a validator.
At the moment the validator can support only the datamodels supported by Qt.
Most of the code is committed on the “release-0.9.6” branch.
A tutorial that shows how to manage the new edit mode is under preparation.
