Hi all!

I have been working on a snap of QXmlEdit. Currently it is in beta status.

What is a snap you ask? A snap is a  single secure package and auto-update system for Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, Centos, Amazon Linux. New to snaps? Check out the Basic snap usage tutorial. By offering a snap version of QXmlEdit it will allow users on these systems (and other systems that provide support for it in the future) to quickly and easily be able to install and update the newest version of QXmlEdit.

If you are on one of these systems and use QXMLEdit feedback in the github project issue queue for the QXmlEdit snap would be appreciated. Either on a current issue or by creating a new issue.

How to install

If you have snapd already installed you can run the following in a terminal to install:

sudo snap install --beta qxmledit

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

I just released the latest version of QXmlEdit 0.9.12 in the beta channel of the snap store. This has a number of fixes including the documentation button should open the PDF documentation file. Please give feeback on the QXmlEdit Snap project's github issue queue.
