Hello,

starting with the current version (0.9.17) there is the possibility to use an alternative set of sources to quickly test the installation scripts. Setting the environment variable QXMLEDIT_USE_FAKE_SOURCES to any value will enable this mode, for example:

export QXMLEDIT_USE_FAKE_SOURCES=y

The final name of the executable will be not the official one to avoid misunderstandings.

The installation settings will change in a near future, so this feature will save a lot of time when adapting scripts.
