Hello,

     starting from the next version (0.9.18) the files “QxmlEdit.appdata.xml” and “QXmlEdit.desktop” by default will be installed on Linux.

The default location will be the same as the current resources, but will be definable via command line options or environment variables as usual, so there will be no need to patch the sources.

The installation of the above files can be disabled as usual.

Details will be placed in the INSTALL file.
