Dear Darmen
Along with some people, i have created a shortener of links (UiopMe -
http://uiop.me/), especially for Twitter. In addition to simply
shorten the urls, it allows other things:
* How many times the url has been clicked
* Have a page with links that @you post
* See graphic of each link, statistics, tweets, retweets
* Discover the city of people who click on your link, with map
* See rankings of clicks, retweets, users, in the selected period
* Customize the alias of the link, view thumbnails, bookmarklets
... among many others. All this just posting the link, without any
account.
I wonder if you can integrate this service to Qwit. Many users are
enjoying, in less than three weeks the site is in the air with PR3 and
thousands of tweets.
The API for URL shortening is
http://uiop.me/api/newlink.php?u=[URL]
The API documentation is in
http://uiop.me/developers where you can
also find other features such as decode links, see details of urls,
tweets, clicks, users, logs.
Thank for you attention
