Matt and Cassie Wyett Family

Good Afternoon Marlin Family, 

You may be receiving this twice, but I wanted to send this to the old email list in case there were some families who had moved on who may not have heard. 

Many of you have probably already heard the horrific news about Carolyn Morningstar and Don Wyett. Both of them passed away due to complications with COVID-19 earlier during the quarantine. Their swimmers are Matthew and Cassie Wyett  and they have been on the team FOREVER! Carolyn and Don were brother and sister and the children were Don's. 

Carolyn's daughter, Lauri, is now responsible for caring for Matt and Cassie. She just posted a new fundraiser on Facebook and the following is the message she posted with it. 

Hi since my mom and uncle have passed we are struggling in making ends meet with our own bills -rent and mortgage including my mom- mortgage, medical bills, and food and electricity water gas and what not. HOAs for both my moms house and ours. We need funds for medical needs for both Cassie and Matthew! Matt needs new glasses. They need food and clothing . They are growing like crazy ! Food for mom’s dog Louie and kitty Greyson. We are so grateful for everything!! Trying to clean up my mom’s house and it will take a long time! Thanks for everything! Lauri
