I think there is a type in "Lecture 9: Squeezed states of a quantum harmonic oscillator".

It starts out by stating the Heisenberg limit as "(Δx)^2 (Δp)^2=ℏ/2", but these quantities should not be squared.

I think this is just a typo because it does make sense to square Δx in the next expression "(Δx)^2 < ℏ/2".

Could this page be updated so that the Heisenberg limit is correctly stated?

Hi Stephen,

These lectures are not maintained in the QuTiP GitHub organisation -- they're part of Robert Johansson's repositories -- but I think you are correct so I have opened a PR with the changes you suggest:

Yours sincerely,

Hi Stephen,

Robert agreed with you and merged
https://github.com/jrjohansson/qutip-lectures/pull/5. :D

You can see the updated notebook here:
https://github.com/jrjohansson/qutip-lectures/blob/master/Lecture-9-Squeezed-states-of-harmonic-oscillator.ipynb

Unfortunately this long standing nbviewer bug --
https://github.com/jupyter/nbviewer/issues/914 -- means that the
version on nbviewer hasn't updated yet. Hopefully it will be updated
shortly.

Yours sincerely,
Simon Cross
