May be interested in using q.informer, but it doesn't work quite right
on the iPad. It seems to display the information boxes in the upper
right of the WHOLE page, not the screen. May be miscalculating where
the screen is in relation to the page.

Ok, we'll need to proof it for iPad but didn't manage to get our hands
on one.
Can you send me some screenshots?

Sure - will do. You can try it yourself with the free iphone simulator (emulates the iPad too) and I confirmed it behaves the same way in the simulator.

Download the xcode dev system and go to
/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/Applications/iPhone Simulator.app

I'll upgrade my iPhone SDK right away (currently on 3.1.3).

Ok, I see what you mean.
Mobile Safari doesn't understand position:fixed in css.

I'll fix this in the next release (v0.0.6.1).
(sceduled for 20th of may)

Hi Tim,

Here's a pre-release of Q.js with iPad fixes:

These are the changes:

- transparency fix in background
- first steps in position:fixed

It still needs to be improved but its on it's way.

Greetings,
Wout
