It is said that whatever a human mind can conceive and believe, it can
achieve. It means that the most talented and passionate individual
can accomplish things possible and acceptable to human mind. However,
mysterious people are beyond definitions. They can turn impossible
into possible and have the power to change their destiny. They can
make impossible things happen through divine help and guidance.
But who are these mysterious people and how they qualify to get the
divine help and guidance. Mysterious people are those who have a
direct connection with Allah. They are the people who love and fear
Allah the most and are always ready to sacrifice everything in His
path. They have no longing for worldly pleasures and material gains.
They see life as a gift of Allah and hence, their purpose of life is
to appease the Master, receive His favor and mercy and give their life
back for Him. They are lost in Allah’s love to the extent of madness
and when one achieves such a state, then Allah Himself asks to write
one’s own destiny.
Some of the major qualities of these mysterious people are their
unsurpassed faith in Allah, their unwavering courage and their earnest
desire to lay down themselves in the way of Allah. When 313 poorly
equipped Muslims defeated highly sophisticated one thousand soldiers
in the field of Badr, when Hazrat Imam Hassan and Hussain (ra) laid
down themselves but did not surrender to the evil and tyrant ruler,
when sa’ad bin Abi Waqaas defeated the two greatest ‘superpowers’ of
the time with only a few thousand nomads, when Hazrat Khalid Bin
Waleed took with him sixty soldiers to confront sixty thousand and
defeated them and when Tariq Bin Ziyad burnt his boats with the
determination either to win or die, it was due to this belief, courage
and desire. Islamic history is replete with such such brilliant heroes
and wonderful and extraordinary events.
Mysterious people are blessed with a divine unconcern which makes them
indifferent from the rest of the world and yet rulers of the time seek
their favor and help. They live with dignity and die with honor. They
don’t fear death, instead they embrace it happily. They are immortal
and don’t finish with death. Today, we desperately need these
mysterious people in order to revive the brilliant past glory of
Islam.
