السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[69] Surah Al-Haqqah [The Sure Reality]

Ayat 48. And verily, this Qur’an is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2).

Ayat 49. And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Qur’an). [Tafseer At-Tabarî, Vol. 29, Page 68]

Ayat 50. And indeed it (this Qur’an) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection).

Ayat 51. And verily, it (this Qur’an) is an absolute truth with certainty .

Ayat 52. So, glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Haqqah Ayat 48 to 52 The Message of Allah is glad tidings for those who believe in Him and follow His Law, for it is a message of Mercy and Forgiveness through repentance and amendment. But in the case of the wicked it is a cause of sorrow, for it denounces sin and proclaims the punishment of those who do not turn from evil (Cf. 2:187). All Truth is in itself certain. But as received by men, and understood with reference to men's psychology, certainty may have certain degrees. There is the probability or certainty resulting from the application of man's power of Judgement and his appraisement of evidence. This is Him al yaqin, certainty by reasoning or inference. Then there is the certainty of seeing something with our own eyes. "Seeing is believing. “This is 'Ain al yaqin, certainty by personal inspection. See 102:5, 7. Then, as here, there is the absolute Truth, with no possibility of error of Judgement or error of the eye, (which stands for any instrument of sense-perception and any ancillary aids, such as microscopes, etc.). This absolute Truth is the Haq al yaqin spoken of here. 52. So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. As Allah has given us this absolute Truth through His Revelation, it behooves us to understand it and be grateful to Him. We must celebrate His praises in thought, word and deed.

*This is the last Ayats of 69th Surah of Al-Quran the Al-Haqqah which contained 52 Ayats, Insha Allah from tomorrow 70th Surah of Al-Quran will start.*

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who does not memorize any part from the Qur'an he is likes the ruined house.''

[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2913]

Lesson: as mentioned in This Hadith means that the heart of that Muslim is devoid of grace of spiritualism and Grace of Allah who does not remember by heart any portion of the Qur'an, in the same way as a deserted house is deprived of inhabitants and Blessings of Allah. What we learn from this is that every Muslim must remember some portion of the Qur'an so that he is safe from the admonition mentioned in this Hadith.
