English Translation of Al-Quran
[17].Surah Al-Isra' [The Journey By Night] also known as Surah Bani Israel [The Children of Israel]
Ayat 25. Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance.
Tafseer of Surah Al Isra' (Bani Israel) Ayat 25. Your Lord knows best what is in your hearts: If ye do deeds of righteousness, verily He is Most Forgiving to those who turn to Him again and again (in true penitence). thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Also as explained in 16:110. (this verse to refer to such men as were originally with the Pagans but afterwards joined Islam, suffered hardships and exile, and fought and struggled in the Cause, with patience and constancy. Their past would be blotted out and forgiven. Men like Khalid bin Walid were numbered with the foremost heroes of Islam. In that case this verse would be a Madinah verse, though the Surah as a whole is Makkan. Perhaps it would be better to read, with some Commentators, fatanu in the active voice rather than futinu in the passive voice, and translate "after inflicting trials and persecutions (on Muslims)-" It is the heart, and its hidden and secret motives, by which we are judged: for Allah knows them all.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "It is from the excellence of (a believer's) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him".
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2317].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Isra Ayat 25. "Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves" This Hadith lays down a very important principle that one should avoid senseless talk and actions. If one acts upon this principle, he can save himself from many sins and evils.
